5 Star Testimonials

“A well structured course led by amazing teachers. I enjoyed every moment of the course and will definitely be going back for more. Amanda's knowledge and ability to train beginners in a tough course as this is highly commendable. Erica was great with ensuring that every participant worked within boundaries of safety and left no stone unturned to help me. Their patience, kindness and ability to fine tune their teaching to each participant's skill level was amazing.“

Incredibly capable trainers created a great, hands-on training environment. I felt I'd had my money's worth by morning tea - and I hadn't even built anything by then! Looking forward to the Power Tools course now I know the basics.

“I attended the Beginners DIY workshop with trainer Scarlette and had the best time! Scarlette was patient, knowledgeable, approachable and broke down the basics of how to use tools. It was a safe space to ask any question and we had some laughs along the way too. It was a great little group of 6 and she made sure every single one of us were successful. I left feeling empowered and wanted to go to Bunnings to buy my own drill! I would highly recommend anyone to the course and I've already got my eye on a few more. Thank you Penny and Scarlette!“

“I've just completed the DIY and Home Renovations workshop in Brisbane with Amanda and Ruth, and really enjoyed it. The team was friendly, explained things well, and provided assistance and clarification whenever needed. I definitely learned a lot and came away feeling more confident, not just in doing (which needs practice! Haha), but in knowing how to approach the basics in the right way. Looking forward to Power Up workshop next!“

"Absolutely loved the carpentry course! Having little experience working with tools Penny took us through step-by-step so that we felt confident using tools and creating projects. I learnt so much. I would whole heartedly recommend this workshop to anyone. I’m so excited to use my new skills on future projects"

Jessica sparks

“Had the best day today at the beginner's Get Handy workshop. Anna's extensive knowledge of the trade and calming nature was the perfect criteria for a trainer. I went along with a friend and learnt so much in one day! My hat goes off to Penny, Anna and their team for making these multiple workshops available.“

Poppy Krallidis

“I am so pleased I did the beginner DIY course. I am a completely unskilled beginner who walked away after one day with confidence to use a drill - into a range of materials - confidence with a saw and the inspiration to tackle bigger DIY projects than I thought possible. Well delivered, enjoyable trainer from highly skilled educators that have got your back every step of the way.“
