I attended the DIY and home maintenance course as well as the Power Tools course.  I'd highly recommend both.  I've watched countless 'how to' YouTube videos before to be able to carry out DIY projects.  But what these courses gave me that You Tube and instruction guides can't, is the confidence to wield the tools and pick the right tool and materials (including nails, screws, types of wood etc) for the job.

What a fantastic experience! I attended the Brisbane Beginners 1-Day Workshop and absolutely loved it. The day was well organised, hands-on, and packed with practical skills.
Ruth and Amanda were knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging, creating a relaxed environment where no question felt silly.  I left feeling more confident, inspired, and excited to tackle my own DIY projects.
The workshop struck the perfect balance between learning and doing, and it was incredibly satisfying to complete projects while gaining new skills. I also met a great group of people, and the supportive atmosphere made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

I attended the Get Handy workshop in June in Brisbane. I loved the day from start to finish, the staff were amazing, the other participants friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. The DIY beginners course was well run, informative and empowering. Learnt some basic DIY measuring, cutting and drilling skills and how to use some basic tools. Could ask lots of questions and there was a very supportive and knowledgeable trainer. Would recommend to anyone looking to start a DIY journey.

Absolutely wonderful course! Walked in knowing very little, and nervous that I wouldnt understand anything, but left feeling empowered and inspired! So wonderful to see so many other ladies there! Will be coming back for more!!
