i've been doing hobby woodworking for a few years, so i was pleasantly surprised at just how much i learned in the complete DIY course; like making drawings and cut lists from them. most valuable was getting in there and working with your hands to actually build things. a very satisfying, confidence building exercise.

Fabulous workshop of learning, gaining confidence, and understanding safety procedures when using power tools. Felix is an experienced tradeswoman and great instructor. I've got to get practising, practising, practising!

The trainers were very patient and supportive. Everything I did in that workshop was first time for me, first time to use a hand saw, first time to drill holes and use clamps, with the help of Amanda and Rani , I was able to complete our little deck, it was a good feeling. 😀

The Get Handy workshop was just what I needed to begin working with power tools.
The instructor gave clear instructions and advice on cutting, sanding and fastenings for different materials.
I had a fantastic day and highly recommend it!

As an older gent on my journey to retirement, I found both the basic and power tool course informative and enabling. The instructors Ruth and Jess displayed knowledge and patience. Recommended for anyone.

Attended the Beginner’s course and found it really good. Sure you can watch a youtube tutorial but there is no better way to learn a new practical skill than doing it with someone there to correct any of your bad practices before they cement in your brain. Will most likely return for the power tools workshop. Felix was great, good energy level and no question left unanswered
